Which is the best Canadian immigration program?

Express Entry is Canada's fastest and most popular immigration program. Candidates applying through the Express Entry System will be able to obtain permanent residence as soon as possible.

The Government of Canada operates more than 80 immigration programs to enable people to work and settle in Canada. There are permanent and temporary immigration categories in Canada that you can apply for. As a permanent resident of Canada, you can get health insurance and most other benefits for Canadians.

Over the next three years, Canada will invite more than 240,000 new entrants across all these three ExpressEntry streams:

  • Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)

  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

  • Federal Skilled Trades (FST)

Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)

The Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) Program is a flagship program that enables immigrants to Canada. The country accepts more than 10,000 people each year under this program. The FSW Canada Immigration Program targets qualified immigrants from around the world who wish to work in Canada for extended periods of time. Candidates can apply with their spouse/partner and dependent children.

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The Canadian Experience Class is a category in which skilled workers convert temporary residence visas to permanent resident visas from Canada. It is based on the time they spend in Canada while contributing to the economy and society. To obtain this visa, candidates must have at least one year of work experience in Canada.

There is no minimum education level required for CEC immigrants. However, if you want to increase your CRS score, you have two options for your educational experience.

If you attend a Canadian school, you will earn Certificate, Degree, and Diploma points from Canadian universities. If you have completed your training abroad, you can collect points through a foreign certificate or ECE report.

Federal Skilled Trades (FST)

The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) is an immigration program that grants skilled workers permanent residence permits based on qualifications in a particular profession. The Department of Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship of Canada is responsible for this program.

Once you receive your application invitation, you will need to provide proof of funding to stay in Canada. You must be able to provide at least CAD 12,960 funding proof per individual applicant. It can be in the form of PF, PPF, FD, and savings account statements.
