Canada’s Immigrant Pathways for Tech Talents

 Canada Immigration Process

Canada’s Immigrant Pathways for Tech Talents

Canada's technology sector is booming and industry growth is expected to continue outpacing the number of skilled technology workers in the Canadian workforce. This growth comes as start-ups and big players like Google and Amazon are investing more money and expanding their operations in Canada. This investment is a core part of the Canadian economy and as a result he has more than 250,000 skilled workers in Toronto alone.

In response to the high demand for skilled technicians, federal and state governments offer many permanent residence and work permit options for hiring foreign workers.

The most common route for qualified technicians to obtain permanent residency is through the Express Entry Application Management System or immigration programs that fall under the State Nominee Program (PNP). Express Entry is the Government of Canada's largest entry route for skilled immigrants. Tech talent may prefer to immigrate to Canada as permanent resident.

Express Entry:

Candidates with a technical background will most commonly receive an invitation for permanent residence under Express Entry.

Express Entry is designed to accelerate professional applications. The most common Express Entry option is the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP). This program, like most jobs in the technical sector, is intended for those with at least one year of professional experience falling under the National Job Code 0, A, or B.

Alternatively, a candidate who has completed her one-year work experience in Canada within the past three years may qualify for express admission through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program.

Provincial tech talent streams:

BC Tech Stream: This stream requires candidates to be eligible for one of BC's immigration programs and have a minimum of one year of tenure.

OINP Tech Draw: This Ontario immigrant candidate program requires candidates to qualify for either the Commonwealth Skilled Worker Program or the Canadian Experience Class.

Saskatchewan Tech Talent Pathway: Eligible candidates must have her employer-specific SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Candidates Program) Job Approval Letter for a qualified occupation in the tech sector. Must have at least 1 year of her professional experience in this profession within the last 5 years.

Alberta Accelerated Tech Pathway: Candidates must meet the Alberta Express Entry Stream eligibility criteria. Must be currently working in Alberta or have a job offer in one of 23 eligible occupations.

Quebec:

Quebec offers its own program called the Quebec Immigration Program for Workers in Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, and Visual Effects Sectors.

Tech categories:

AI (Artificial Intelligence): There are two ways to qualify for this stream. If the candidate has graduated from a college or university in Quebec, work experience and recruitment are required. Recruitment may not be required if the candidate was educated abroad, but must prove an education equivalent to a Quebec bachelor's degree.

IT and Visual Effects Stream: Candidate must have two years of professional experience within the last five years in which she has one of ten qualified occupations. You must also have on-site job vacancies and the equivalent of a Quebec engineering degree or bachelor's degree.

Saskatchewan:

The Saskatchewan Tech Talent Pathway is his PNP stream for tech professionals who have received job openings in Saskatchewan's highly skilled technology and innovation sector. Applicants who pass this provincial nominee stream will be granted permanent residency in Canada.

The Saskatchewan Tech Talent Pathway is open to both Express Entry and non-Express Entry candidates. To apply to be an Express Entry candidate, applicants must have a valid profile in the Express Entry candidate pool. Applicants must have a job offer from an employer in Saskatchewan. This must be a full-time, full-time employee in one of the stream's eligible technical positions. See above for a full list of eligible occupations. Applicants must submit a valid SINP offer letter as part of their application.

If the candidate is applying from within Saskatchewan, the individual must be currently employed in Saskatchewan. Applicant has worked full-time for at least six months for the employer to which the job is posted or has at least one year of her professional experience within the last five years in the occupation for which the vacancy is advertised is needed. If applying from outside Saskatchewan, the candidate must have at least one year of relevant relevant work experience in the last five years in a qualifying profession.

The first requirement of the Saskatchewan Tech Talent Pathway is to secure a job offer from a Saskatchewan employer. Saskatchewan operates its own job site, Saskjobs.ca. After finding a job opportunity, a job seeker should obtain an offer letter from her SINP before applying. Once job seekers have secured a vacancy, they can submit an application for state nomination through SINP's online application portal.

Once a provincial endorsement applicant is accepted, the individual can apply to the federal government for permanent residency in Canada. While awaiting federal application processing, applicants may be eligible to receive a work permit support letter that allows them to obtain a work permit and work in Saskatchewan. The application process across the country varies depending on whether the applicant applied as an Express Entry or Non-Express Entry candidate. Express Entry candidates can add state endorsements to their profile and apply through our faster Express Entry system. Non-Express participants must apply through the regular process, which has a longer average processing time.

ICCRC Approved Immigration Consultants in Dubai, UAE

 blog-post-image

ICCRC Approved Immigration Consultants in Dubai, UAE

ICCRC stands for Immigration Consultant of the Canadian Regulatory Council. This is a type of Canadian government organization at the national level that serves, helps, advises, or provides support to all individuals applying for citizenship and immigration in Canada. ICCRC immigration advisors registered with ICCRC are called RCIC (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants).

Under Canadian law, it is illegal for a person not registered with ICCRC to provide immigration advice for fees or other financial benefits. This law applies to anyone who provides Canadian immigration advice, both inside and outside  Canada. Moving to Canada is a bit tricky, but not everyone needs the help of a consultant, but most people who want to reduce application time are hiring a consultant for a paid service. I don't care.

The Federal Government of Canada, primarily allows all applicants wishing to immigrate to Canada to receive professional services only at a fair price from regulated consultants, this agency called ICCRC. Was established. The ICCRC has taken all necessary steps to avoid fraudulent activity that would tempt candidates into a thriving career in Canada and deceive them from their precious time and money. Take appropriate steps to protect and safeguard the best applicant's interests in all immigration cases.

If your ICCRC immigration agent is not RCIC, it means that he/she is not approved by ICCRC to provide immigration advisory services.

This can cause a number of problems, as detailed below:

  • You may receive false information about Canada's immigration process and delay the immigration process.

  • If you are found guilty of paying an unregistered immigration consultant, your application may be rejected.

  • After all, the Government of Canada is responsible for hiring and using services from unregistered immigration consultants.

  • It may be banned for up to 2 years before a reapplication is approved. You may be experiencing serious trauma and may be dissatisfied with receiving irrelevant information.

If you are planning to immigrate to Canada and apply for a Canadian PR visa, you do not need to hire an immigration consulting agency like Nexus Migration, but hiring such an agency will give you the time and planning you need. It will be shortened and the chances of success will definitely increase. In case of a dangerous situation.

If you decide to hire a Canadian immigration consultant, you should always confirm your registration with ICCRC. At Nexus Migration, our personnel is not only registered with ICCRC but also have many years of experience in supporting emerging clients from the United Arab Emirates.

10 Quick Tips For Canada Pr Visa

Discover the best visa programs for you

The great news is that Canada has over 100 visa programs. In short, the chances of getting a visa are much more than most other immigrants with few options available. Some programs are point-based, some are on a first-come-first-served basis, some have limited registration goals and some are designed to make up for temporary skill deficiencies.

Canada is also one of the few first-world countries with numerous permanent residency programs for highly skilled workers.

Get help from RCICs professionals

A regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) is a legally recognized representative and a well-positioned member of the Canadian Regulatory Council (ICCRC) Immigration Consultants. They specialize in Canadian immigration and help international clients realize their dreams of working and living in Canada. They do this on behalf of their clients by handling the entire Canadian permanent residence application process and ensuring optimal results from start to finish.

Gather all your documents in advance

During the process of applying for PR in Canada, the IRCC will ask you to submit certain documents. Some documents may take several months to arrive. Therefore, waiting for a formal question can delay the process unnecessarily.

Some immigration programs, such as the Express Entry System, only give you 60 days to submit your permanent residence application to the IRCC. This may sound like enough time to collect the documents, but certain required documents, such as police background checks, are only for some applicants because the procedure in their country of residence is slow. Consider the fact that it can take several months for you.

Check the expiration date of the documents

Some Canadian PR applications were delayed or rejected not because the applicant was not eligible, but because the applicant did not read the instructions, confirm acceptance or address any concerns. This risk can be mitigated by reading the material, reviewing the document checklist, and raising concerns from anyone who can provide an answer.

Follow your document checklist

There is no unified checklist for immigrating to Canada. In the process of applying for PR in Canada, the IRCC will provide you with a specific checklist based on your specific circumstances and the immigration program you are applying for; This checklist is based on your specific situation and it is important to follow each item.

Read the instructions carefully

Filling out government forms for Canadian immigrant purposes is not a task that should be underestimated. Misspelling, illegible handwriting, lack of proper answers to questions and concerns, etc. can be returned or in the worst case, rejected by the application. This can easily be avoided by reading the instructions carefully. For example, if the question doesn't apply to your case, you need to write a N/A instead of making it interpretable or leaving it empty.

Be accurate and never lie in your Canada PR application

Under no circumstances should you lie during this process as you may sacrifice new life opportunities in Canada. The IRCC considers lying on immigration applications to be a "misrepresentation" and may be banned from prosecution or entry into Canada for at least five years. Please note that PR applications take an average of 12 months to process as they go through an in-depth review process by the immigration officer.

Any missing document/s in your Canada PR application must be justified

If for some reason you are unable to submit the requested document to IRCC, you may be able to write a formal letter explaining the reason. It is important to provide detailed and accurate reasons why you cannot submit a particular document. For example, if you cannot get a police customs clearance certificate from a country, you are responsible for explaining why you cannot. You will need to submit proof that you have applied for a police customs clearance certificate and write a letter explaining all the efforts you have made to obtain it.

Don’t leave gaps in your life history

Do not leave a time gap in your Canadian PR application. IRCC requires a detailed description of your personal history and determines if there are gaps in your schedule that may delay your application. It is important to get a complete picture of the history of employment, study, and travel and to consider every second of life over the last 10 years, including the period of your unemployment.

Itinerary information should include details about the country of visit, the reason for the visit, and the length of stay. If you need help remembering, you should include the exact date on your passport or travel documents.

Get prepared for your Canada Immigration interview

First of all, just relax, don't panic. Not everyone needs to attend an immigration interview. The interview depends on the immigration category you applied for. Qualified immigrant categories, such as Express Entry Candidates, do not need to attend the interview. Immigration interviews are an important part of the PR application process that leads to the final decision on whether or not to be granted PR status. IRCC will send you the documents to bring and instructions on when and where the interview will take place.

10 Simple Things To know About Canada Migration Consultant

Immigration consultants are specialists in helping immigrants from one country to another. They also provide legal and other advice based on their own experience. Experienced immigration consultants will always help you with the paperwork you need and will guide you through the entire process. When you start a conversation with them, these advisors will be your best friends. Most importantly, finding an experienced immigration consultant is not an easy task.

1. Knowledge of Laws

Experienced immigration consultants are aware of all the rules and regulations of each country and their legal documentation requirements. The most common requirement is that you need to be aware of the various laws of the country.

2. Excellent communicators

The job of an immigration consultant is to explain the immigration process, paperwork, and other legal proceedings. Counselors need to have good speaking and listening skills. The main requirement is the ability to explain all technical terms and legal proceedings to the layman. Therefore, in this job, he/she must be the best in communication.

3. Team player

Being an advisor is very complicated because you need to advise and get people to know the document. In addition, this is a time-consuming process that requires contacting various team members regarding client immigration cases. Good conversations with other colleagues give you the advantage of doing your job perfectly.

4. Educational background

Immigration consultants need to have a formal degree and in-depth knowledge commensurate with this position. Apart from that, it also serves as advice for students who wish to study abroad, so one person must take responsibility for this position. The need for proper training is also essential and cannot be negotiated.

5. Bi-lingual

As a consultant, you must be able to speak at least a few languages. Apart from English, it has a positive effect for customers to speak in a comfortable language. This is because speaking the same language allows people from different regions to feel more connected and it also helps to build trust quickly.

6. Familiarity and Success Rate

Migration policies are constantly changing, so you should always choose an agent who has a good understanding of servicing your customers and is experienced. Such companies can deal with exceptional situations that save more money and time.

7. Time-saving

Not everyone has time to analyze instructions, fill out forms and prepare documents for submission, even for the simplest immigrants, where all forms and instructions are online. Even in simple cases, it can take up to a few days, even if you don't fully understand the requirements and rules. If you submit an incomplete application, or if certain details are missing, the case may be returned without a refund and you will need to resend the package. A registered immigration consultant already has all the resources in the office and will guide you quickly and efficiently. He or she thinks and acts for you and frees your precious time for something more meaningful.

8. Keeps confidentiality of the data

A registered immigration consultant can take care of all the details and provide you with personal services, but the online guide will give you general instructions without considering aspects of immigration law. Just give. Personalised services also include excellent suggestions and advice from advisors on payment services in Canada. Having the right knowledge and connections is crucial to future success in Canada. Your excellent immigration advisor can be the first link to Canadian society. Also, if you use a registered immigration consultant, please be assured that  your confidential information will be private.

9. Making the complicated process simpler

Immigration is a complex process. This is not just due to complex Canadian immigration law. It is also the scope of your financial and emotional commitment to coming and settling in a new country. With knowledge of immigration law  and  local knowledge of Canadian society, a registered immigration consultant will guide you through the process and simplify complex processes.

10. Keeping everything organised and complete

Immigration is a serious process and details are paramount. Did you know that if you submit an application with unknown information or skip some questions, the documents will be rejected or returned for re-application. A certified immigration consultant is qualified to ensure that your information is complete and presented to immigration officers in an organised manner so that your case can be easily processed. A detailed cover letter will be sent with your application to make a good impression of your case.

Canada PR Visa Explained in 5 Steps

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible to apply for a Canada PR under the Express Entry system, you need a minimum score of 67 points out of 100 to qualify.

When you are applying for a Canada PR, your score will be evaluated on the following factors:

To find out if you are eligible to apply or not, you need to answer a few questions

Age

There is no specific age limit. However, different programs may support younger candidates by giving them more points.

Language proficiency in English

Candidates need to take the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test to show that they can adapt and work in Canada. The minimum IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score required for permanent residence is CLB 7 (Canadian Language Benchmark). At the same time, an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of CLB 9 (Canadian Language Benchmark) or higher can enhance your profile and increase your chances of getting a work permit.

Education

A candidate should have senior-secondary degree education according to the immigration standards to prove the eligibility. The candidates who have got a better academic degree than senior secondary get greater factors and feature the threshold over others.

Work Experience

The candidate needs to have at least 12 months of experience (30 hours in a week) to turn out to be eligible. Having extra experience improves the possibilities of approval.

Adaptability

Country adaptability also helps candidates score points. If a candidate has a spouse or relative in Canada, they may receive additional points for getting permanent residence.

PREPARATION

Familiarise yourself with the immigration program portal earlier than you create your Immigration program profile. If you aren't making use of it as a professional worker, then Express Entry is some thing you need to work towards. But Express Entry is the handiest manner to get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Permanent Residence (PR). The records you add for your Express Entry profile will encompass facts about your education, language skills, and experience, in addition to whether or not or now no longer you've got an activity provided expecting you in Canada.

CREATE YOUR PROFILE OF THE PROGRAM YOU HAVE CHOSEN

Be absolutely honest when creating your profile. Do not exaggerate or twist the facts. Most of the information you upload to your Express Entry profile requires support documentation (see step 4 below). There is no charge for creating an express entry profile. Once the profile is created, it will be included in the Candidate Pool and ranked according to the Overall Ranking Score (CRS).

GATHER ALL YOUR REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

You have to in fact have all the documents (see listing below) handy as you create your Express Entry profile. This is due to the fact any discrepancy among the statistics to your profile and you're helping files might also additionally bring about you being taken into consideration ineligible to apply.

Here is a list of the most common documents you will need:

IELTS, CELPIP, or TEF official results

PNP stating you have been nominated by a provincial government (if applicable)

A written job offer from a Canadian employer (if you have one)

Proof of funds from a reputable financial institution

Valid passports

ECA reports from a designated organization

Medical Certificate from a designated physician

Police Certificate showing you have submitted to a background check

SCORE GOOD IN CRS TO RECEIVE ITA

The highest-ranked (in line with their CRS) applicants in any pool of Express Entry or PNP Candidates will get hold of an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from Express Entry or PNP. Once you get hold of your ITA, you may then have ninety days to use it online for Permanent Residence (PR) in Canada. You should have all essential helping documents equipped to post together along with your software for PR. Most packages for PR might be finished within 6 months' time. Currently, ITAs are being issued to applicants with ratings over 470 points. If your rating is beneath four hundred points, you ought to both enhance it through growing your abilities or get a task to provide or PNP.

If you do not get hold of an ITA, your profile will stay within-side the applicant's pool for as much as 12 months, so long as you meet the necessities for the federal application you're making use of.
